You must complete each application using our full online application process. Simply register and off you go.

Salt's website is designed specifically with you in mind and offers:

• a quick and easy registration process
• standalone eKFIs
• fully-scored online DIP facility
• full online case-tracking

What's more, once a decision in principle has been made,
we won't go back on our decision.
Once we've received the online application, we'll begin to process it immediately.
This means we can get the ball rolling whilst the
necessary signatures are obtained and other relevant supporting documentation.

What procuration fees do you pay?

Please refer to our proc fee section for details of the fees we pay to brokers, packagers and networks and clubs on our different product types.

Who will pay the procuration fee?

It depends on how you apply.

• packager route: We will pay the procuration fee directly to the packager who will then pay you the agreed amount.
• selected networks & clubs: We will pay the procuration fee directly to your network or club who will then pay you the agreed amount.
• direct (not selected networks & clubs): We will pay the procuration fee directly to you.

How soon will you pay the procuration fee?

We'll pay the procuration fee
no more than 14 days from completion.
We often pay this sooner and
guarantee it won't be longer.

Do you offer status (income verified) mortgages?

Yes, we offer prime status mortgages.

Can the fees be added?

Some fees can be added to the loan on completion,
please see our product details for more information.
However if the customer
chooses to pay these in full
on or before their first payment date,
we won't charge any interest on the fees.

Will experienced members of staff deal with my application?

We have a highly experienced team,
who have worked in this market for many years
so rest assured you're in good hands.
All direct business is processed and packaged in-house.
